Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences - Deemed University was established under Section (3) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act 1956 on 29th September, 2003 by Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development vide its notification No. F.9-11/2000-U-3.
The School of Bioscience Management of our University was established to provide high quality and up-to-date training in Bioscience Management to future managers and entrepreneurs of the country.
From the academic Year 2006-2007, we have introduced MBA (Bioscience) to create human resource capital to meet the needs of the biotech, pharmaceutical industrial revolutions. The course is designed to generate better quality MBAs with the knowledge of, Bioscience and the various classical disciplines of management such as marketing, human resource etc.
I am, therefore, confident that our MBA Bioscience graduates will be an asset to any industry and not just to the biotech or pharmacy industry. It is my pride and privilege to present them as a valuable resource for future industrial advancement of India
