Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics Course

The University is commencing the new academic program of 'BPO' - Bachelor of Prosthetics and orthotics from August 2007.

Prosthetics & Orthotics plays important role in rehabilitation of disables. The candidates are trained in fabrication fitment and manufacturing of various type of aids & appliances for the disables and patients.

There is a great demand of B.P.O graduates nationally & internationally. They are either appointed in institutes / Hospital / Rehab center / manufacturing industries OR can practice privately. The course is self employment oriented.

This is 4.5 years full-time degree program & Candidate who have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Board or any equivalent examination of any recognized Board or any Indian University with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with not less than 50% marks taken together are eligible for this course.

The institute is having M.C.I. recognized Medical College & Hospital, Physiotherapy College and well developed laboratories of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthotics & Prosthetics.
