Association of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health in India and
FAKOOZ Hungary ( National Society of Family Physician) & Hungarian Club Doctors


Objectives:

The collaboration is based on the following objectives:

  • Studying the possibilities of improving medical health care of village population and cost effectiveness of the health care
  • To get knowledge of epidemiological data of the village population
  • To study health and social status
  • To asses the possibility of definitive care


Duration of Agreement: Since 2000

Funding:

The funding is based on the following understanding that the receiver organization provides travel, boarding lodging and fees for the cultural programmes in the country. The travelling member will bear the travel charges and insurance cost.

Outcome:

The collaboration has given an opportunity for the medical practitioners to visit Hungary and study/compare the health care facilities between India and Hungary.

The association and university encourage the private practitioners to attend the National/International conferences in Rural Health and present scientific papers. So far four private practitioners have visited Hungary and equal number of them have attended international conference on Rural Health.
