Warm Greetings!
It’s a matter of immense pleasure to inform you that PIMS(DU),College of Nursing successfully completed 25 years of excellence in Nursing Education and marching ahead, in view of Silver Jubilee celebration College of Nursing organizing National level Conference on “Emerging Challenges in Nursing” on 30th September and 1st October 2011.
The college of nursing is located in lush green campus of the PIMS(DU) in Loni(BK). The campus is beautifully architectured and landscaped from utility and aesthetic points of view and located 22km away from Holy place Shirdi, the religious abode of Shri.Saibaba.
The scientific and technological advances in medicine along with social changes have resulted in emergence of challenges for the nursess. In current scenario it becomes imperative for the nursing professional to update their knowledge and skill through evidence based research. Objectives of nursing education should focus on preparing nurses competent to meet the emerging new challenges. Closing the gap between theory and practice is a continuing challenge.
We look forward for your gracious presence in Silver Jubilee Celebration and contribution in this conference. The conference sessions will highlight the advance perspectives and challenges in nursing. The sessions are designed by experts who are rich in experience, willing to share their expertise and aims to provide maximum benefit to all the participants. Scientific Session - Paper Presentation
- All abstracts need to be submitted on or before 15.09.2011.
- Only registered delegates will be allowed to present the paper.
- Abstract should be limited 300 words in English(Times New Roman 12 font size) and should include the title,authors name,brief introduction, method,results and conclusion.
- The duration of oral presentation will be 7-10 minutes.
- The abstract should be submitted to the organizing secretary by e-mail
(principal.con@pmtpims.org) and by post with registration form.

Poster Presentation
- The size of the poster presentation will be 75 cmX 55cm.
- Extra fixing of clippings / cutting or any other forms should be avoided.
- Incorporate diagrams or pictures
- Submit the posters on 30.09.2011 at the time of registration.
- Best Paper and Poster presentation will be awarded with prize on the subthemes.
