Frequently Asked Questions...

On this page you can find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the EMECW15 program.

IMPORTANT: If you wish to contact us, please provide the registration number which has been given to you after submitting your application.

Can I send scanned documents only or do I also have to send them by regular mail?

If the scanned documents are clear (try it out when printing them), and text/logo/stamps are readable then scanned copies are sufficient, when in doubt you can send them by regular mail as well – to your first choice university. Please note: all certificates/degrees have to be certified by stamps of the university.

Where do I send the documents by regular mail?

Please, don’t send the documents before the university ask specifically for the documents. The university will tell you the address and to whom you are supposed to send the application. Only if you have problems with scanning documents, please send the application to the coordinating university, Lund University (info@erasmuswindow15.org).

Can I send my documents in another language than English?

All official documents such as diploma’s / course records / certificates, etc., should have their official English translation attached. This does not count for passports.

Will I also need to send my High school diploma when applying for an MSc or higher level?

The documents to submit depend on the level of study you wish to follow. For undergraduate studies we need to see a High School certificate. If you wish to do a MSc we do NOT need a High school certificate, but the diploma of your university level. For a PhD study we need your MSc diploma, etc.

Can I apply to more than one Study/country?

Yes. Depending on your language skills, you may apply to three universities, in which case you have to fill in separate applications. Your first application will be regarded as your first choice.

What is meant by sending/uploading certificates/degrees/language tests? Why do I need to provide those?

Uploading documents means you have to scan your documents and send them to us through the Internet. This documentation will be necessary for you, to prove that you are qualified for a certain level of study that you are applying for. For example: Should you wish to apply for an MSc study, you need to show that you have a BSc diploma. Should you wish to apply for a PhD, then you have to show that you have an MSc diploma and also have the course records of the studies that you followed. Please note that it is not possible for us to take action in requesting your documents from any university. Should you wish to apply you have to make sure that all your documents are in order. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the selection process. Note: You should also have proof of language proficiency. As some universities have higher requirements than others, please check with the university you have applied to. Your application will not be accepted if you fail to comply to the language requirements of the university of your choice, so you MUST submit a proof of language proficiency.
