26th May 2010	Fourth Convocation of the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences held on Wednesday 26th May 2010 at 11.00 am. On this occasion Hon'ble Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Chancellor of the University presided over the function and delivered Convocation address.
9th February 2008	New Library Building of the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences was inaugurated on Monday 9th February 2009 at 10.00 am by Hon'ble Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, Member, Planning Commission of India. Hon'ble Dr.Anil Kakodkar, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Hon'ble Shri. Balasaheb vikhe Patil, Chancellor of the University, Hon'ble Shri. Ramakant Khalap, Former Chief Minister of Goa, Shri. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Ex.Minister of Agriculture, Govt of Maharashtra, Dr.Ashok Patil, Vice Chancellor, PIMS, Shri. Annasaheb Mhaske Patil, Chairman, Mula-pravara Electric Co-operative Society were present .
9th February 2009	Third convocation of the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences held on Monday 9th February 2009 at 11.00 am. On this occasion Hon'ble Shri. Balasaheb vikhe Patil, Chancellor of the University presided over the function and delivered Convocation address. Dr. Bhalchandra Mungekar, Member, Planning Commission of India and former Vice-Chancellor University of Mumbai was the Chief Guest at the Convocation function. 8th February 2009	Fun run For Health - Loni Mini Marathon - 8th Year The institutes annual feature "local Marathon - FUN - RUN - FOR HEALTH" organised . This year over 18500 Participants had come from a radius of 100 kms from various nearby villages, schools and colleges participated in the marathon.
19th December 2008	Industry Interaction Meet at BSM The School of Biosciences Management, Sinnar had conducted “Industry Interaction Meeting with representative from various reputed industries, like Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Matrix Laboratories Ltd, Genom Biotech Pvt Ltd, Nirmay Pharma Pvt. Ltd, Fem Care Pharma Ltd., Noble Drugs Ltd. Food Drugs & Chemicals Ltd. etc. The basic objective of the meeting was to equip the Budding Manager MBA Bioscience with exact needs of industry and understating industry related problem and at the same time availing the valuable guidance from the Industry experts for the professional development of the budding managers. Mr. Sanjay S. Kale Asst. commissioner (FDA) Maharashtra state had delivered a talk on “Bioscience Management An overview.”
20th October 2008	Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden had appreciated the work of Pravara Medical Trust, Loni, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Loni and Sida supported Project, Loni, on the eve of her Official Visit to Dr. Vikhe Patil'l Foundation's Vikhe Patil School, Pune on 20th October 2008. Dr. Ashok Patil, Vice Chancellor, PIMS presented the Mission, Vision, Commitments, Activities and Achievements of PMT/PIMS, Loni Model and activities/achievements of Sida supported Project to Her Royal Highness. A on-line video conference of Rahata e-health Center was organized. Her Royal Highness also took keen interest in the Project Activities and witnessed the Health Exhibition & Display of Various Material Developed under the Sida Project. Prof. K.V. Somasundaram, Project Coordinator, Dr. P.B. Dhore, I/C Medical Coordinator, Mr. Mahesh Borawake, IT Manager, and Mr. Sunil Titame, Environmentalist represented Sida Project at the function in Pune.
29th September 2008	5th Anniversary of the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences held on Monday 29th September 2008 at 11.00 am. On this occasion Chief guest was Hon'ble Dr.S.N.Pathan , Vice Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur . Hon'ble Shri. Balasaheb vikhe Patil, Chancellor of the University presided over the function.

22-24th February 2008	11th Asian Congress of Agricultural Medicine & Rural Health Pravara Medical Trust (PMT) in association with Association of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health in India (AAMRHI) organized 11th Asian Congress of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health from 22nd - 24th Feb 2008 at WelcomHotel Rama International, Aurangabad. The theme of the conference was “INTEGRATED APPROACH TOWARDS ACHIEVING MILLENNIUM IN ASIA”. Millennium Summit held by United Nations in Geneva in September 2000, attended by 196 countries, set goals & targets commonly known as "Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)" to be achieved by 2015 by each member state. The conference was inaugurated by Padmashree Dr. Jaya Arunachalam, President Working Forum for Women, Chennai. Dr. Ashok Patil, President, International Association of Agricultural Medicine and Rural Health, presented the objectives of the conference. After the formal inauguration of the conference, keynote addresses were delivered by Dr. Jaya Arunachalam and Dr. Shengli NIU, Senior Specialist, International Labour Organization, Geneva.
10th February 2008	Fun run For Health - Loni Mini Marathon - 7th Year With the belief that a healthy body harbors a healthy mind or "All work and no play makes jack a dull boy", an annual feature outside the humdrum of routine has been added in the form of a local Marathon - FUN - RUN - FOR HEALTH since year 2002. This year over 18500 Participants had come from a radius of 100 kms. Approximately about 80 trucks and 65 buses along with rickshaws, trailer tractor, jeeps etc. brought in the participants from various nearby villages, schools and colleges.
10th December 2007	Visit of Ambassador of Sweden His Excellency Mr. Lars-Olof Lindgren His Excellency Mr. Lars-Olof Lindgren, The Ambassador of Sweden and Mr. Carl Svensson, Head, Development Cooperation Section, Embassy of Sweden, New Delhi visited Sida Project area (Bhandardhara and Loni) on 9th and 10th December 2007. He visited Mobile Clinic at Village Bari/Zagirdar wadi Tal:Akole . He also Visited Rural Health Center (RHC), Shendi and Exhibition of IEC/Training material, DDK, First Aid Box, Water Filter, Mobile Neonatal Unit etc . He addressed in Public Function of Female Helath Volunteers (FHV), Self Help Groups (SHG), Dai's, Adolescents (School students), Teachers, Sarpanch's, Opinion leaders. A Shakti ++ was distributed to Anemic Women & Malnourished Children at the hands of His Excellency His Excellency then visited Mobile Clinic/Spirulina unit , Vermi Compost Units at Shirpunje Village . Pravara Medical Trust has organised Felicitation Fucntion in honour of His Excellency Mr.Lars Olof Lidngren. The function was presided by Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Chancellor, PIMS. His Excellency inaugurated Center for Biotech & Information Technology at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Babhleshwar during his visit and addressed the public meeting of Self Help groups and Farmers Club..
29th October 2007	The Oath taking ceremony of Dental College Batch 2002 The Oath taking ceremony of the batch of 2002 was held on 29/10/2007 in the Red Hall. The function commenced with the passing-out students marching in wearing graduation robes and hats. The master of ceremonies Dr.Praveen Byakod welcomed the chief Guest Dr.Ashok Patil, Dr.Gangadhar, Dr.Toshniwal and other dignitaries on the dais. A welcome prayer gave an auspicious start to what turned out to be an emotional afternoon where the students took the modern version of the Hippocratic Oath, as an auditorium packed with staff members & moist-eyed parents looked on indulgently. The students received certificates & mementoes for the occasion from the hands of the esteemed guests; after which a few of the students shared their experiences with the audience. The occasion reached a crescendo of emotion when a presentation was made comprising photographs of the students most memorable moments. Dr.Ashok Patil’s inspiring words gave the perfect end to a remarkable afternoon.
29th September 2007	Opening of New Dental College Building The Opening of New spacious and impressive Dental College Building was done by Padmabhushan Dr.Anil Kohli, President Dental Council of India, New Delhi in the presence of Prof. Dr.S.G.Damle, joint Municipal Commissioner, Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Dean, Dr.Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai on 29th September 2007. The function was presided by Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Chancellor, PRU. The day was also very important because it happened to be Fourth Anniversary of Pravara Rural University. After the inauguration function Dr.Anil Kohli addressed a gathering of about thousand people in RMC Ground. He and Dr.Damle appreciated and applauded the efforts taken by Pravara Medical Trust in the growth of Dental College and the campus.
