The Central library is central resource for current academic information and scientific literature of high quality.

The library's holdings include almost 14 000 print volumes and nearly 3500 bound volume of journal's subscribed time to time besides around 250 journal subscriptions.

The collections are focused on the University's main areas of competence, i.e. Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing.

With its own collections as a base and with the opportunities of the modern information technology as a complement, the library is equipped with Medline CD Library for offline access to the abstracts and references on various medical topics and also has online MEDLARS Database Access facility and also has Internet Connectivity to access the references from Internet.
