Aims & Content:

To promote high quality teaching, research and service development in Rural Health in national and international context.

Objectives:
  1. Better understanding of holistic approach to overall well being
  2. Understand diversifying factors affecting health and diseases
  3. Acquire skills and expertise in effective communication, counseling, team work, problem solving and program management including monitoring & evaluation.
  4. Understand effective management of the resources and community financing
  5. Develop critical and need based competencies among health care professional & managers
  6. Improve ability to generate and use relevant health information for best possible decision making

Prerequisites:
  • The applicant should have successfully completed the Bachelors degree in Science / Medico Social Work / Home Sciences/ Nursing / Pharmacy or possesses such qualifications as equivalent to an undergraduate ( Bachelors) degree.
  • Admission will be given on basis of marks obtained in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience of working in a Primary Health Care, Environmental Health & Community Development Program.


Key Dates:

CET (Common Entrance Test ) - during Month of May.

Commencement of Course - 1st August.
